3. Online Donations & Payment Services (Zeffy)
To process online donations efficiently with zero platform fees, Ihsan Relief utilizes Zeffy (operated by 9355-0861 Québec Inc., Canada).
- 3.1 Donation Processing & Platform Tips
- Direct Contributions: 100% of the donation amount specified for Ihsan Relief goes directly to our community projects.
- Voluntary Support to Zeffy: Zeffy offers its payment platform free of charge to non-profits and relies on voluntary contributions from donors. During checkout, Zeffy may present an option to add a voluntary tip to support their operations. This tip goes to Zeffy and is completely optional—you may adjust or set this amount to £0 before completing your payment.
- 3.2 Payment Security
- Financial transactions and card payments made via Zeffy are processed using PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment gateways (such as Stripe). Ihsan Relief does not store, collect, or have access to full debit or credit card numbers.
- 3.3 Refund & Cancellation Policy
- As contributions are made voluntarily for charitable/community benefit, donations are generally non-refundable.
- Errors or Duplicate Transactions: If a donation was made in error (e.g., an unintended duplicate transaction or incorrect amount entered), please contact us within 28 days at

Refunds issued due to processing errors are at the discretion of Ihsan Relief C.I.C. - Recurring Donations: If you have set up a recurring monthly donation, you may cancel it at any time by contacting us or managing your donor session via Zeffy prior to the next scheduled billing date.
4. UK Gift Aid Declarations
If you are a UK taxpayer, you may enable Ihsan Relief C.I.C. to reclaim Gift Aid on your eligible donations, increasing the value of your contribution by 25p for every £1 donated at no extra cost to you.
By ticking the Gift Aid declaration box on our donation form, you confirm that:
- You will notify us if your tax status changes or if you wish to cancel your declaration.
- You are a UK taxpayer.
- You have paid or will pay an amount of UK Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax for each tax year (6 April to 5 April) that is at least equal to the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all your donations across all charities and CICs in that tax year.
- You understand that other taxes such as VAT and Council Tax do not qualify for Gift Aid.
5. Allocation & Use of Funds
Ihsan Relief C.I.C. makes every effort to apply funds directly to the specific project or geographical region designated at the time of donation.
- General Funds: Unrestricted donations will be allocated where the need is greatest across our core community operations.
- Oversubscribed Campaigns: If a specific campaign becomes fully funded, completed, or cannot be executed due to circumstances beyond our control (such as local access restrictions or political instability), Ihsan Relief reserves the right to reallocate excess funds to another active community project providing similar relief to women, children, and vulnerable communities.

All content published on this website—including text, images, logos, graphics, design elements, and audio/video materials—is the property of Ihsan Relief C.I.C. or used under license from third-party copyright holders.
